What are the differences between the online courses offered through different platforms?

We offer a range of online courses through various platforms, each with its own format and learning style.

Our course "Business Presentations & Public Speaking" is a live online course with weekly mandatory sessions over a 12-week period. Participants are required to commit to a 2-hour virtual session once a week. This course is administered through the University of Toronto and registration is done through them. At the end of this session participants receive a certificate of completion and this program is one of three components to give you a larger certificate in business communication. This course has 3 marked assignments.

On the other hand, courses like "Communication Strategies for a Virtual Age" on Coursera and "Public Speaking: A tactical approach" or "Brain Hacking: Presentation Skills" on Udemy are asynchronous, self-paced with no live session requirements.

Note 1: Coursera functions on a semester system. Therefore, the course makes itself available roughly once every one to five weeks and you will have approximately one week to complete each module. There are five modules in the course. Once you've finished, you will receive a certificate from the University of Toronto via Coursera. This course has multiple choice tests required to complete a module and a final project which is peer reviewed.

Note 2: Each of the Udemy courses is approximately 1 hour in length. They can both be done at your convenience. These courses have no assessments or exams.
